2006 Metal Architecture Design Award

The Guilford Station is distinguished by a 2006 metal architecture design award. The new Guilford Station blends seamlessly into the picturesque, historical town of Guildford, while serving hundreds of commuters each day. Aside from the aesthetic benefits of these panels, the structural properties of the Series 300 metal roofing system ensure the safety of the passengers, and protect the Department of Transportation’s investment. The Series 300 system is the perfect solution to provide the beauty and design flexibility of a metal roof, as well as longevity and resistance to the harsh weather conditions that are prevalent in this coastal New England town, and other stations along the Shore Line East commuter rail line.
